Climate Change is four stylistically different cutting edge musicians coming together to blend their creative influences into a statement musical harmony.

Dennis Hastings is regarded as one of the Northwest's most highly respected vocalist. His performances in Jazz, R&B, and Popular music place him at the pinnacle of the regions music community.

Ariel Calabria is a highly talented multi-instrumentalist whose guitar work alone has left audiences in a state of disbelief. He is a veteran of Saxophone legend Bert Wilson’s Rebirth band.

Tarik Bentlemsani is an award winning guitar wizard whose talents are in constant demand by others in the music community. Besides Climate Change, Tarik performs with The Brown Edition, Podunk Funk and vocalist Lizzy Boyer.

Michael Olson is a percussionist from the legendary Obrador band, Ocho Pies and numerous Jazz and folkloric ensembles. For decades he has studied in and performed the music of Cuba, Haiti and Puerto Rico in both concert and dance settings.

Ginny Reilly

Thursday, June 09, 2016
6:30p to 8:00p
Market Stage

The last Lady From The Canyon to commit song to tape, Ginny Reilly was there from the start. She moved from Chicago to San Francisco in 1968 and began making the rounds at open mic nights around the city, before landing her own night at the Drinking Gourd. In 1970, she began writing and performing with David Maloney, a Bay Area folkie from Syracuse, New York. The two toured heavily throughout the early 1970s on “the steakhouse circuit,” without recording so much as a demo of original material. In 1976, the duo headed into the studio to record At Last, the first of seven albums. If “Wildman” sounds like a lost Rumours outtake, keep in mind that it predates Fleetwood Mac's smash album by nearly a year. For almost 40 years, Reilly and Maloney have gone back and forth from Ginny’s home in Seattle, Washington, and David’s home in San Anselmo, California, with frequent stops at cafés, churches, and, yes, steakhouses in between.
