Choroloco is an acoustic quartet specializing in Brazilian choro music. Choro is an instrumental style of Brazilian music born in 1920's Rio de Janeiro. It is reminiscent of ragtime but with a distinct Brazilian feel. From beautiful ballads to infectuously joyous melodies at breakneck tempos, it combines virtuosity, jazz improvisation and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. To this we add some baião, forró and Brazilian jazz to create an amazing show.
